As vice president of People Strategy at Addison Group, Allison Betancourt leads the people strategy team and strategically oversees learning and development. During her tenure, she has developed a passion for helping people grow in their careers and uses the meaningful work as motivation to keep striving for success.

Betancourt was initially drawn to Addison Group for its entrepreneurial culture back in 2010. In that spirit, she has encouraged employees to take initiative and pursue opportunities that support professional and personal growth. Her accomplishments have helped shape the company culture as it today — entrepreneurial in spirit and prioritizing a people-first approach.

Starting in a desk-level position before moving to a corporate training role, Betancourt found a love for developing talent. Putting her passion and skills to work in 2018, she stepped away from her role as director of learning and development for several months to aid a third-party source with an internal initiative for Addison Group: Project Galileo – a talent lifecycle program that strengthened Addison’s recruitment methods, onboarding procedures and strived to eliminate unconscious bias during the hiring process. Involved from conceptualization to execution, Betancourt played an integral role in the success of the initiative and built out an entire department dedicated to supporting its success and longevity.

As for her greatest accomplishment? It hasn’t happened yet. Betancourt’s personal motto is: “Keep moving forward. On to the next.”
