When Amit Pandey finished school and set off to join the workforce, he was sure of only one thing: He wanted to help others achieve something meaningful. When a posted advertisement calling for recruiters caught his eye, he realized that the staffing industry was the ideal place to do so. Fifteen years later, Pandey has worked his way up to vice president of service delivery at eTeam Inc., overseeing the contingent workforce solutions’ group strategy with a team of over 150 resources.
Upon joining eTeam in 2018, Pandey hit the ground running, designing and executing the contingent staffing program that spans more than 14 countries. He’s particularly proud of his involvement with eTeam’s newest offering: High5, an IT platform for staffing that automates the hire-and-deploy process with pre-vetted talent and video interviewing capability. “High5 is a borderless staffing solution,” explains Pandey. “We couldn’t have imagined such a talent product two or three years ago.”
Reflecting on his career thus far, going “from hiring one resource a month way back in 2006 when I started as associate recruiter to nearly 200-plus hires every month in US and Europe,” Pandey says it’s that steady growth that keeps him motivated day in and day out. In addition to growing his organization in the coming years, Pandey hopes to serve as a mentor and coach to aspiring staffing and recruitment professionals.
