Ashish Garg took an innovative business approach when founding Net2Source, building an offshore delivery center first and then expanding operations in the US. Using $100,000 in personal loans gathered from 15 separate banks, he launched the company in India in 2007 with five employees, one line of business and no clients under his belt. The global workforce management solutions company now counts eight lines of business, $35 million in revenue, 450-plus clients and more than 1,280 employees globally. Debtfree and with no venture funding, Net2Source currently has operations in 14 countries, including 30 sales offices across US as well as three coast-to-coast delivery centers.

Under Garg’s leadership, Net2Source, whose services include IT consulting and staffing solutions, has been named a Best of the Best Supplier by Agile-1 for supporting 21 Fortune 100 clients and made the Inc. 500 list since for the past four years. Garg also owns sister company Transcend Staffing Solutions; the two companies combine for a value of more than $50 million. “Believe in your vision and your employees — together we can sail through all bad times,” Garg advises. “Don’t be a part of the rat race, develop your unique business model which resolves the challenge your clients have, focus on value addition and not just selling.”
