Colleen Ogg

When Colleen Ogg got into staffing out of college, she only planned to stay a few years, but, as she says, the universe had other plans for her. In September of this year, the VP of operations will celebrate 18 years in the industry and with Cella, where her staffing career began. “I’m doing what I love to do, which is continually learning while helping other people,” Ogg shares.

One of the accomplishments Ogg is most proud of is her key role in the evolution of the technology platform used by Cella for CRM and marketing automation. Outside of systems and processes, which is where Ogg thrives, she also created an employee experience team. Ogg hired a team leader and centralized existing activities, and she is implementing new strategies and programs to approach employee experience. Making this a priority has resulted in happier, more engaged employees at Cella.

Part of what keeps Ogg in staffing is the opportunity to work with a lot of people and being able to help them. “I love helping an individual take a leap, make a step in their career that can change the course of their whole future,” she shares, adding that she also loves the diversity of staffing and thrives in the chaos.

Ogg has big plans for the future, including offering some of the programs and strategies that Cella uses for its internal employee experience team to Cella’s external clients and candidates.
