Jagriti Kumar

Jagriti Kumar came to the staffing industry a decade ago following a career with one of the Big Four accounting firms. “I wanted to transition into something more people-based, something that would connect me with others on a human level,” says Kumar on joining Next Level Business Services in 2012 as a finance manager; she now serves as CFO.

Kumar has played a pivotal role in scaling the company organically with zero external investment. When the entire talent landscape was bearing the brunt of the Covid-19 pandemic, under her leadership and direction, the organization witnessed significant growth which she rightfully calls “a testament of NLB’s achievement.” The company in 2021 ranked as one of the fastest-growing staffing firms in the US with $305 million in revenue, according to SIA.

With a big vision, path-breaking ideas and strong opinions, Kumar takes on one challenge at a time and propels NLB Services to greater heights with constant force and dedication. A progressive global citizen at heart, she has been instrumental in building a diverse, inclusive and forward-thinking organization.

When asked about the future of the talent solutions space and her views on its growth, Kumar responds, “We can’t be too comfortable in an era of uncertainty. We need to be more empathetic and have an agile mind to deliver better results.”
