Since being named TalentBurst’s first director of strategic partnerships in 2018, Jamie Jacobs transformed its internal dynamics to allow for a more client-focused and customer-oriented experience. Her background and industry contacts also helped increase TalentBurst’s business and market share.
Over the past calendar year alone, she has more than quadrupled the number of RFPs TalentBurst has been asked to participate in annually — to 21 from four or five a year — and also brought on 14 new clients during the pandemic. In addition, TalentBurst increased its client list by approximately 20% during her three-year tenure and its net annual revenues by more than one-third.
Jacobs is also spearheading TalentBurst’s efforts to increase its presence in staffing life science positions, securing more than 10 clients over the past few months.
Jacobs launched her staffing career at Adecco in 2014 as a light industrial recruiter. From there, she took on roles of increasing responsibility at other companies. She is personally dedicated to helping people and paying forward the guidance others have provided her in the past.
“For me, for every job I’ve ever had, it’s always been about helping people and getting them to where they need to be. It’s become my passion in life,” she says. “With staffing, I just love that I get to help individuals find their career paths so they can provide for themselves, they can provide for their families, they can be happy. The fact that I get to be a part of that is very humbling.”
