Jason Zinder strives to be the trusted person in the room as he’s working with clients. And with client satisfaction scores that are off the charts, he’s achieving that goal. For the majority of his career, the 39-year-old director of engagement for TAPFIN has worked in vendor management, starting in the foods industry. He joined TAPFIN nine years ago as a solutions architect and quickly made his mark, earning a quick promotion to project manager and “tremendous” client satisfaction scores.

He entered the staffing industry world by way of Ensemble, and truly got into the managed service program game when Ensemble bought Chimes in 2006. The 2008 bankruptcy that shook the staffing work didn’t shake him, though; Zinder joined TAPFIN in 2009 and hasn’t looked back. TAPFIN is one of the largest global MSP providers, according to SIA research. In fact, looking forward is what he does best, always striving to be ahead, to anticipate what the client needs before the client even knows, he says.

Among those clients is a global telecom company, an account he won from two prior MSPs. Zinder expanded the MSP’s service offerings into one very  large, global account, earning TAPFIN’s Circle of Stars recognition along the way.

Outside of work, Zinder can be found tinkering on or riding his Harley and spending time hiking or at the beach with his wife, 9-year-old daughter, and two dogs.
