Jordan Huck

Jordan Huck quickly climbed the ladder at IT consulting firm Veritaaq, which he joined 10 years ago. He launched his career in Veritaaq by starting a private sector practice in Toronto as a one-man team; now, that practice accounts for 50% of the group’s revenue.

His passion for the industry was sparked during his time at Wilfred Laurier University in Ontario. Huck participated in a co-op program internship within the staffing industry and he immediately loved how entrepreneurial it was. He’s remained in the industry ever since. “I was attracted to the industry because you can create a career based on ‘what you put in is what you get out.’”

While Huck continued to slowly move up, Veritaaq also grew quickly and was acquired by ManpowerGroup’s Experis in 2015. Earlier this year, Huck was appointed as president of the group and is now focused on ensuring a seamless transition and continued growth.

As for what motivates Huck, he says it’s his constant drive and passion for self-improvement which also extends to the entire organization as well as being inspired to help solve business challenges for clients. Huck considers his greatest accomplishment to be “creating an organization where people can come and build a career.”
