With a background in B2B software, one of Vettery CEO Josh Brenner’s passions has always been to help entrepreneurs and businesses succeed by harnessing the power of technology.

At Vettery — an AI-powered online recruitment platform that aims to help companies hire tech, sales and finance workers — he is able to bring his passion of using technology to help business by focusing on one of the most fundamental challenges that companies face: finding the right people.

Brenner was named CEO of the New York-based company in January after having previously served as chief product officer. The company itself was founded in 2014 and acquired by The Adecco Group in 2018. Some of its milestones so far include the 175,000 interviews that took place on the platform in 2019 alone and its having helped more than 2,000 people land jobs in that year.

So far, Brenner has helped bring a customer-centric view to the HR tech firm. While the company’s culture was already very innovative and fast-moving, he is helping to make sure the power of relationships between people is not forgotten.

One of Vettery’s primary verticals served is technology, and Brenner notes that while hiring has slowed during the Covid-19 pandemic, companies continue to invest in technology. Vettery is also focused on continuing to invest in making its algorithms more robust as well as collecting more data. He is also working to help the company enhance its culture and understanding of customers in order to provide even more value once the Covid-19 crisis is in the past.
