Justin McCollum, director of sales at Advantage xPO, began his staffing career in January 2011 with the hope that his desire to serve and lead would support his ability to sell a service in the staffing industry. After almost 10 years in the industry, he can confidently say he has found his passion and career: “Helping people makes me feel more alive than anything,” he says.
Advantage xPO is a total talent management partner supporting the manufacturing, retail, healthcare, education, financial services and technology industries. In his role, McCollum has helped lead Advantage xPO to No. 1 out of seven business units within the Staffmark Group. He has also developed LinkedIn video content to educate business leaders on MSP, RPO and BPO. McCollum’s efforts have earned him internal recognition as a two-time Diamond Club Award winner and a Game Changer Award recipient for landing a big client.
“To be better today than I was yesterday is my ultimate driver. I thrive knowing my efforts produce great jobs both internally and for our talent communities,” McCollum says. He finds helping people to be incredibly rewarding — whether it’s growing the business or bringing a solution that makes its clients successful in their talent strategies. McCollum believes staffing companies that take creative and strategic approaches to client needs will flourish, and he’s excited to be a part Advantage xPO’s evolution — and someday making an even bigger impact as an executive leader in the staffing industry.
