Kerry Perez found her passion for helping people straight after college in 2007 as an entry-level recruiter at AMN Healthcare, the largest healthcare staffing company in the US. Now, as head of the diligence and integration management office at AMN, she has led more than $1.5 billion in strategic company acquisition integrations and helped scale the company to $2.4 billion from $1.1 billion in revenue by significantly strengthening its market leadership position and tripling its service offerings from travel nursing to workforce solutions to credentialing services and more.

Last year, Perez created and led the company’s first-ever enterprise team dedicated to executing the company’s largest strategic initiatives for long-term growth. This pilot team focuses on transforming technology and processes to improve the experiences impacting the company’s clients, healthcare professionals, team members and patients.

Perez attributes the pilot group’s success to the efforts of her talented team plus key partners across the organization and cites it as one of her biggest professional accomplishments so far.

As a strong advocate for women who believes in empowering the lives of girls from a young age, Perez is passionately aligned to AMN Healthcare’s corporate social responsibility mission around diversity, equality and inclusion and wishes one day to start her own nonprofit focusing on these areas. “It’s all about being somebody that makes everybody feel like a somebody,” she says.
