Marisol Hughes

As executive VP and general counsel at WilsonHCG, Marisol Hughes has negotiated numerous multimillion-dollar contracts with global brands and Fortune 500 companies, securing longterm service commitments for WilsonHCG. Hughes also leads WilsonHCG’s diversity efforts, ensuring equity and inclusion are front and center as part of the company’s strategic vision.

After undergraduate school, Hughes tried a few different career paths before landing in staffing. She was drawn to the job as a recruiter because she enjoys talking to people and loves the idea of helping match them to their dream careers.

While working as a recruiter, she attended law school in the evenings and after spending time in both the private and public law sectors after graduating, she joined WilsonHCG. It was the perfect marriage of her passions: law and recruitment.

Recently, she oversaw the entire client contract process for the company’s multiple service lines with more than 500 new global client contracts signed in 2019, which directly contributed to the company’s bottom line. She also put into place privacy policies, oversaw the implementation of an HR information system and developed and established a global compliance program to mitigate company risk.
