Mohammad Talha Gaffar

Mohammad Talha Gaffar has led Swoon’s accounting and finance department for five years. During his first year, Swoon had revenue of $12 million, and this year the company projection is $70 million. Gaffar is proud to have contributed significantly to this growth; he increased the gross profit percentage by 4% for 2018 by implementing a margin approval process for sales and recruiting contract negotiation, along with additional incentives to motivate Swoon’s production teams. He has also put into effect new budgeting and cost-saving initiatives throughout all aspects of the business.

Gaffar attributes his success to being surrounded by great people; a desire to really learn about the staffing industry instead of being just a “regular numbers guy”; and making himself available to help everyone within the company who needs it. Being the first in his family to graduate from a university motivates Gaffar to work extremely hard, as does working for a great staffing company.

“Swoon has arrived within the industry and will continue to grow,” he says. “Our owners have given me the opportunity to grow without limits and I have had the ability to work on tasks that most people my age would not have the opening to do.”

Gaffar is also committed to helping his community. He participates in a local organization called Project Rizq, where he volunteers his time packaging and supplying food and household necessities for the less fortunate.
