Mullady Voelker

Mullady Voelker is president of growth and strategy and part owner of GIFTED Healthcare, whose purpose is to improve the patient experience by empowering nurses and providing frontline care in the hospital, home and community. Voelker joined GIFTED Healthcare in 2010, seeking a career that melded her passions for business and people. She continues to drive GIFTED Healthcare’s strategic long-term growth plan, including expansion into new markets as well as new service lines, and oversees innovative marketing and public relations efforts. She is active in the community, focusing on bringing sustainable partnerships and businesses to the New Orleans region.

Voelker is motivated by her colleagues and by helping them achieve their personal and professional goals, which she believes are one and the same. “In today’s world, there is no such thing as a work-life balance,” Voelker says. “They are not separate, conflicting, oppositional forces. They are and should be all wrapped up in the individual, which is part of the larger group, part of an even larger company, a system. The balance of the whole person is what is most important and what prepares the larger system for growth.” Voelker is most proud of GIFTED Healthcare’s steady growth while remaining true to the core values on which the company was created.
