Patty Bogosh

As vice president of Chicago-based Swoon, Patty Bogosh’s beginnings were in accounting. She graduated with a degree in accounting in 2005 and her first job was in that field, but she was “too social to sit behind a desk all day,” Bogosh explains. Then, in 2006, a friend interviewed for a job in staffing, and thought Bogosh would be the better fit.

Having been told for years she would be great at recruiting, Bogosh took the plunge and joined Robert Half. “I’ve found what I’m meant to do,” she says of her continued passion for the industry. “We solve customers’ problems; We change people’s lives.”

In 2011, she left Robert Half for Advanced Resources, where she launched a new practice in 2014, opened two new markets in 2017, and oversaw annual growth of at least 25% each year of her tenure. And in April 2018, she joined Swoon as vice president, overseeing the North America sales teams. Her team has already racked up growth of more than 65% since her arrival.

Bogosh knows the sky is the limit in this industry if you remain agile and creative in solutions. She looks forward to her teams being significant contributors to the growth of Swoon through staff augmentation and professional services delivery throughout North America.

Bogosh is a member of the Rush Associates Board, which fundraises in support of Rush Hospital in Chicago. She also sits on the board for ELITE — Executive Leaders in Transition Exchange — which helps guide senior finance and HR executives find employment through networking.
