Robert Gleason took a chance in 2016, moving from his role managing a large sales team with another company in the industry to join the staff at Fusion Healthcare Staffing. “I heard it was a great company,” he says, “and once I recognized the opportunities it offered, I decided to make the move to Fusion.” As COO, he is passionate about making an impact in the field, helping not only his employees and clients, but also patients who are seen by physicians that Fusion places. “Fusion has an impact on a wide range of individuals, from local communities to my own employees,” he notes proudly.
Along with his team, Gleason recently spearheaded the creation of a training program for new recruiters. “We didn’t have a strong structured program before. We’d give them a quick tutorial and throw them on the phones,” he explains. “Now it’s a multi-week program where we walk through the staffing process, dive into the system, place group calls and more.”
