Adam Nebel

Adam Nebel joined VincentBenjamin six years ago and launched the firm’s IT staffing division as well as opened a new office for the company in Phoenix. He later expanded that office from six to 30 internal workers.

Today, Nebel is a managing director at VincentBenjamin, which ranked on last year’s list of fastest-growing staffing firms. And looking back, helping build the company is one of the things of which he is most proud. What motivates him? “Of course, I like winning; that’s a fun thing,” Nebel says. However, more important to him is making an impact and being part of a fun system in which to work.

To help create a positive culture, VincentBenjamin aims to hire the right people who work together to raise the bar for one another. Success at staffing is a team sport; there’s no room for lone wolves. “We check egos at the door,” Nebel says. “We hire people who are confident and motivated but are able to share ideas with one another.”

Going forward, Nebel plans to continue building the company and creating a great culture. “Life is too short to hang your hat where you’re miserable,” Nebel says.
