Bret D’Vincent

Bret D’Vincent is vice president of recruitment at Aya Healthcare, one of the largest travel nurse staffing and healthcare workforce solutions providers in the country. He is accountable for profitable revenue growth of all traveler (nurse, therapy, allied) and per diem (nurse, therapy) recruitment. Leveraging his homegrown team of managers, he oversees more than 200 employees.

D’Vincent is particularly proud of honing a successful recruitment methodology that synergizes long-term relationships with travelers and focuses on clinicians’ personal goals. Instead of “getting somebody a job,” his team places travelers creatively to meet the objectives of clinicians and clients. He hires top talent and provides them with industry-leading training to deliver best-in-class results.

Motivated by his peers, D’Vincent surrounds himself with people who continually challenge him to improve Aya, systems and structure and facilitate growth. He lives by the “it takes a village” philosophy every day as he and his team collaborate to solve challenges and turn their ideas into actionable solutions. During a hospital stay for a ruptured appendix, D’Vincent received phenomenal care from a travel nurse, he says; it was then that he decided to utilize his math and economics degree on the business side of the healthcare industry and has dedicated his post-college career to healthcare staffing. He’s excited to continue helping Aya Healthcare become the largest travel healthcare staffing company in the industry.
