Chanel Georges

A dynamic problem-solver, VP of Sales and Operations Chanel Georges leads a 40-person operations department, bringing in more than $75 million in revenue. She is also a new mom to baby Jade.

Georges joined Host Healthcare, a travel nursing and therapy provider, in 2016 as an entry-level recruitment specialist after graduating from San Diego State University. She loved the respect and care the company showed for team members, and she quickly impressed management with her leadership ability and commitment to the company’s mission of helping others.

In 2018, Georges was promoted to lead Host’s new operations department. As more responsibilities were added to her role, she continually implemented improvements that enhanced efficiency, morale, and productivity.

The department’s 40 individuals are in a variety of roles, including sales support, housing, contracts, quality assurance, special projects, payroll and offshore resources. It plays a critical role in the company’s rapid growth to more than $75 million in 2020 from $35 million in revenue in 2018.

“I love the impact the staffing industry makes on those we serve,” she says. “It is a great feeling to work in an industry where we help others live better through the work we do!”

Throughout this hectic period of corporate and personal growth, Georges has gained the trust of her leadership and teams. She helps her direct reports — most of whom are managers themselves — become better leaders through her gentle guidance.

“As a leader, I am motivated by those around me who are continuously learning and growing to be better each day,” she says.
