Drew Evans jokes that he “stumbled” into recruitment but soon fell in love with the work-hard, play-hard culture and winning attitude at Specialist Staffing Group. “It was a true meritocracy,” he says. “I had such an incredible first few years that I make it a point to try to recreate that experience for everyone that I hire.” As director of Computer Futures, a division of Specialist Staffing Group, he’s extremely proud to have created a diverse team, contributing to an inclusive, trusted and engaging work environment.

Evans’ focus on getting to know a client’s business goals is what truly makes him stand out in the industry, he believes. “Understanding why clients need something rather than what they need allows us to tailor our searches and, most of all, align our goals. If we can help clients reach their business goals, then we are a true partner.” In 2018, Computer Futures became a Registered Salesforce Consulting Partner thanks to the group’s work in the ecosystem, and Evans says it was a team effort from the bottom up.

Evans plans to continue to grow the business and create a positive environment for other leaders to grow their careers, and he also hopes to open new markets and new offices. “Our company’s mission is to bring skilled people together to build the future,” he says. “If I can foster that idea both internally and externally, I’ll be able to look back and be proud of my work.”
