Erin Zaller epitomizes climbing the career ladder. Two days after graduating from the University of Florida, she entered Kforce’s recruiter training program. Nearly 15 years later, she serves as senior VP of vertical delivery.

“When people ask me what I do, I still tell them that I’m a recruiter because at the core of it, that’s still what I do,” she explains.

But her role is far-reaching. Most recently, she reorganized Kforce’s local recruiting efforts by creating a central recruiting team focused on niche high-demand, low-supply skill sets. She also created a roadmap for effectively using technology to source talent, and she revised a recruiting identification and engagement progression tool that is being distributed firmwide.

Additionally, Zaller has led internal webinars, participated in interviews with Women in Technology International and contributed to several blogs and external speaking engagements.

But she’s quick to share the praise. “I’m most proud of the people within our organization,” Zaller says. “We’ve built this organization of people that are respectful, are amazing at what they do and have a genuine love and care for not only each other, but our consultants and our clients. … Yes, there are awards … but at the end of the day, I’m proud of the people that we are, and I’m proud of the people that we are together.”
