Jeffrey S. Cartwright, chief revenue officer at S.i. Systems, has spent his entire career following his passion for helping people. After working as a technical recruiter at a big staffing firm for seven years, Cartwright joined S.i. Systems in 2014, drawn to people management.
“I enjoy connecting people to a profession they love,” he says. “S.i. Systems gave me the opportunity to do that from within a management role, where I can have an impact and help even more people.”
And he has indeed had an impact, having played an integral part in doubling the Canadian firm’s sales revenue to $600 million over the past four years. He also undertook new enterprise sales and marketing initiatives, which have led to increased brand awareness and revenue. Cartwright drove the implementation of a go-to-market strategy and an integrated marketing program that now positions S.i. Systems to remain a market leader.
Most recently, Cartwright led a complete rebrand of the company. “This was a big project for me, as we built everything from the ground up. The feedback I’ve received from our clients, candidates and more than 300 employees has been extremely gratifying,” he said.
A strong voice for promoting workplace diversity, Cartwright looks forward to creating more opportunities for talent to thrive. “We’re committed to expanding our DEI initiatives and creating new inroads for young professionals,” he said. “For me, it’s all about connecting people with opportunities and making meaningful connections along the way.”
