Kristina Soldani

Kristina Soldani was first recruited to the staffing industry in 2014 when she joined AMN Healthcare. Following her time as a pre-med student, Soldani worked her way up from a recruiter and after eight short years was promoted to president of critical staffing solutions in April 2022.

With diverse industry experience that includes travel nursing, locum tenens, rapid response and labor disruptions, Soldani is able to quickly ramp up in new situations and effect positive change. One of her proudest career moments has been successfully leading a client through one of the largest and most complex labor disruption events that her business has seen. Soldani and her team were able to bring in 600 temporary team members to assist with bringing thousands of clinicians for this particular client. “Just seeing the team pivot and be able to react to whatever is needed and still maintain culture was a very proud moment for me,” she shares.

Additionally, under Soldani’s leadership, recruiter productivity increased 31% year over year, and she had a successful retention rate of 85% for 2021.

Going forward, Soldani aims to focus on the more technical part of staffing and how to bring the technology aspect and the people aspect together. She wants to explore how technology can help enhance the staffing industry and how AI capabilities may assist with finding the best candidates quickly.
