Morgan Haynes joined Tribal Health, a consulting and staffing firm dedicated to serving tribal and federal healthcare facilities, as COO in 2016, bringing with her several years’ experience in HR consulting and healthcare recruiting. Since becoming president in 2021, Haynes has emphasized Tribal Health’s connection to strategic growth and its inclusive culture. “When I first started with this business, there was a huge need to bring quality providers and change the name of staffing in tribal and federal lands,” she explains. “To do that, you have to have people who [have] truly bought in to what you’re doing. … We never want our team members to feel as if they’re just another number.”

Haynes considers it an honor to lead an organization that she has guided since its near-infancy — the company was founded in 2015 — and she takes a lot of pride in what she does. “I love being able to see real-time transformation in the communities we serve,” she says. “Finding good healthcare can be challenging in remote, rural areas. Sending high-quality [healthcare workers] to them excites me — what we’re doing is making a difference.”

Haynes sees a bright future for Tribal Health as more healthcare workers seek out meaningful work and the less-rigid organizational structure that contingent work offers. She aims to continue growing the company and launching new service lines, particularly in behavioral and mental health.
