With 12 years’ experience in the staffing industry, Sarah G. Palmer is one of the most forward-thinking leaders in the recruitment process outsourcing industry and has revolutionized the integration of digital strategies into the talent acquisition process. She is division president of Hueman People Solutions, a position she transitioned to in January 2022.
Palmer has been with Hueman since its launch in 2016, serving at the time as VP of marketing. As the liaison between marketing and recruiting leaders, she helped them make strategic decisions and become more digitally oriented. While marketing appealed to her on many levels, she finds herself more fulfilled by what she is able to accomplish in the talent acquisition industry. For example, during the challenges presented by Covid-19, Palmer launched the company’s Hueman Flexible Recruiting solution and found creative ways to support unusual client scopes.
She finds it incredible that she is in a position to impact the lives of hundreds of thousands of people by enabling them to find jobs that help them get to the next step in their careers and in their earning potential.
Palmer has been frequently recognized by the industry for her efforts. She was a finalist for the Hueman companywide Core Value Award in 2017, 2019 and 2020, and she is a member of the Forbes Human Resources Council. She was also among the Millennials in Staffing list published by SIA in 2016. Those who report to her consider her an inspirational leader and a “total game changer.”
