Will Hayes

Will Hayes, a 15-year veteran of the staffing industry, has served as IDR Inc.’s chief operating officer since January 2022 and was a regional VP for five years prior to that. IDR is an employee-owned staffing company that provides IT staffing across the country and has grown organically with entry-level talent for nearly 25 years.

Over the past year, Hayes implemented the digitalization and automation of IDR’s core recruiting and sales platforms, created an entry-level sales development program that will have doubled the company’s sales force in 2022 and created an end-to-end data analytics platform for the enterprise that provides full visibility and transparency from a financials and performance management standpoint.

Having grown up in the industry right out of college, Hayes developed a passion for solving challenges for clients and especially developing young leaders. “With IDR being organically grown from entry-level producers, we rely heavily on the development of our people. This is always first and foremost in my mind every day,” he says, adding that all of IDR’s new hires start in the business as recruiters and work their way up the organization. He aims to continue finding ways to make IDR’s teams more productive with heavy investments in company infrastructure and culture to ensure its hybrid work model supports the entry-level development programs but still provides an environment for its teams to thrive.
