Clarissa Rodney

Clarissa Rodney, vice president of business intelligence and sales business operations at Randstad USA, is one of the faces changing the staffing industry. A millennial who grew up seeing technology rapidly evolve, she brings business savvy, a talent for planning and organization, and personal engagement to support transformation in staffing operations.

Rodney came to Randstad in 2011 from sales in the tech industry. Starting as a recruiter, she progressed through a variety of increasingly challenging roles over the years. In her current position, Rodney leverages internal and external data within the industry and within segments to support Randstad sales leaders in making smarter, data-driven business decisions. She enjoys telling a story from the data that is both relevant and meaningful to the organization, integrating her extensive experience in day-to-day operations.

Bringing her whole self to her work, Rodney embraces new opportunities and is not afraid to speak up. Contributing to her success were leaders who saw her strengths and potential, pushing her to grow. Thanks to those who inspired her, she says, “I raised my hand at the right times, right moments. When I felt like I was ready to take on something new, I was able to maximize that new opportunity because I was focused and ready personally.”

Rodney has impacted both people and digital transformation at Randstad. She takes pride in seeing people she hired, trained and mentored become rising stars within the company. Moreover, she notes her project management role in developing Randstad at Work, a new digital technology that matches talent to opportunities in ways that give potential hires more freedom, access and control. She plans to continue focusing on team leadership, operations and supporting the development of next-level technology.
