Perla founded the technical recruitment firm in 2017 with a clear vision to revolutionize the recruitment experience by prioritizing transparency and integrity. Her guidance has driven the company to expand globally over the last year, with development centers in Brazil, Colombia and Poland. Under her leadership, the company also achieved a 60% growth in revenue in 2022 and earned an Inc. 5000 company recognition.

Perla’s commitment to workplace diversity has made Mojo Trek a prominent advocate in the field, with more than 60% of the team comprising women. “It all starts with awareness, education and making conscious decisions,” she says. “There has never been a better time than now to reintroduce women into the workforce.”

Looking ahead, Perla envisions international expansion for Mojo Trek while eagerly exploring the potential of AI in the staffing industry.

“The world’s going to be different. I’m excited to witness the new level of automation and work optimization AI-enabled tools will bring,” she says. “However, we need to be prepared to jump on the wagon and take advantage of it because companies that embrace AI will not only survive but thrive in the ever-evolving landscape.”
