Marshall “Skip” Wood

Marshall “Skip” Wood’s unique career path —  from banking to finance roles in healthcare and staffing, and then to operations — gives him a diverse perspective in his role as president of Employbridge’s commercial division, a position he has held since 2021.

Wood oversees over $3 billion in revenue across the US and was instrumental in the early 2021 sale of Employbridge to Apollo Global Management as well as Employbridge’s late 2021 acquisition of HireDynamics. A driver of strategy who puts plans into action, Wood helped Employbridge navigate Covid-19 and the post-pandemic recovery by helping to deliver over $30 million in cost optimization through the centralization of administrative and recruiting activities.

His desire to work for an organization that puts people first is what led him to Employbridge. “The leadership here truly matches their actions to their words,” he explains. And as a leader himself, Wood is passionate about developing other people into great leaders as well.
