Michael Mitchell

As a young man, Michael Mitchell was pulled out of college to serve in the Iraq war. After returning home, he found it challenging to transition to a civilian career. When his grandmother approached him about a recruiting position she had available at her firm, Mitchell jumped in and immediately thrived in his new career.

Five years later, he opened his own firm, Integra Staffing, at just 28 years old. Integra places candidates in a wide range of industries including IT, administrative, manufacturing and more. Under Mitchell’s leadership as CEO, the firm stayed resilient through the pandemic, never losing sight of its mission of serving clients with integrity.

Mitchell is particularly dedicated to helping veterans and other disadvantaged job seekers due to his own experiences as an Army veteran. “I believe that everyone deserves a chance to succeed. I’m committed to making that a reality through my work at Integra,” he notes.

In addition to helping people find careers, Mitchell is a firm believer in giving back. He supports his community by hosting annual food and blanket drives and sponsoring Little League organizations. “These initiatives not only benefit the community but also help create a better bond with my staff,” he says.

Looking forward, Mitchell is working to innovate the hiring process by increasing the use of automation to boost efficiency to keep up with the changing demands of today’s labor market. “I want to be able to connect the dots in the workforce as efficiently as possible,” he says. “This will allow us to help more people.”
