Brad Doss

Brad Doss is a close adviser to Volt Information Sciences Inc.’s president and CEO as well as senior management and the board of directors, bringing unparalleled knowledge of the business operations fueled by its financial data.

Volt has almost always been a part of Doss’s life; his mother, a payroll director, has worked for the company for nearly 30 years. He took a short-term, temporary stint in Volt’s accounting department shortly after high school and returned after college as a full-time analyst. His career then blossomed; he has been promoted five times over the last seven years and is one of the youngest executive leaders in the company’s history.

Doss is now CFO of Volt Workforce Solutions, the company’s North American staffing arm with approximately $900 million in 2018 annual revenue, as well as Volt Consulting Group, the MSP division with revenue of approximately $30 million. Over the past 12 months, the performance of both business units has surpassed results of the past 26 quarters.

Doss credits the influence of his teams and the people supporting him for his success. “I’ve been fortunate enough to have visibility and access to high-level folks and work with strong industry-leading individual leaders over a number of years in my career,” he says. “I would say that is far and away the biggest takeaway for me.”
