Sonia Sardana, senior VP for ACS Solutions, grew up in the staffing world and was always meant to be a part of the industry. “It was very natural for me to join the family business,” she says.
Sardana joined the company as an IT program manager in 2012 and worked her way up to operations and then sales and recruiting, making a significant impact in each department to increase its growth, efficiency, productivity, accountability, quality, performance management and P&L management. Sardana now runs a $900 million global staffing department across the US, Mexico and India. Her team is responsible for half of the overall annualized revenue of $1.8 billion for ACS Solutions.
Her organic and inorganic strategies have expanded the recruitment team to more than 1,000 employees worldwide and enabled the company to achieve a 20% compound annual growth rate between 2021 and 2022.
Sardana has been lauded for her leadership qualities and has led ACS to earn the Great Places to Work Award every year since 2019.
While she’s proud of the impact she has on ACS Solutions, she’s “most inspired and honored to be in a position [to hire] thousands of people and provide them with the means to live a stable life,” she says.
