Kyle Power was working in ecommerce when he was referred by friends to CHG Healthcare Services and tasked with building an entire department from the ground up. He has achieved success by applying knowledge gleaned through other jobs to his new role — senior director, interactive marketing — in the staffing industry. He’s also displayed a knack for understanding how things come together and finessing the integration of his team and its processes into the broader organization.

“When I started, there were only a handful of us,” Power says. “Now the team consists of more than 20 people with a focus on media, analytics, operations, conventions and job description content.” His abilities to learn quickly, collaborate and network have helped CHG and his team expand which in turn has stimulated more growth.

His team’s expansion has led to more innovation, better efficiency, and the automation of some internal processes, enabling the group to take on new work. In fact, transitioning to a developmental role has helped Power become a better mentor and coach and identify opportunities for improvement across all departments.

“It’s a fascinating time to be in staffing as technology and human relationships combine to create a better experience for customers,” Power says.

Power enjoys helping others grow and finding a role that they feel passionate about. And he hopes that he can do more of that in the future. “I’m going to continue to learn, build the team and continue our journey,” Power says.
