Rebeca Martinez

A belief that there is an opportunity to serve others in every situation led CEO Rebeca Martinez to co-found iDeal Hire in 2009. Initially focused on allied health, clinical and nonclinical jobs, iDeal now provides expertise only for healthcare staffing.

In 2021, Martinez oversaw the launch of a travel division that caters to the needs of clinical and therapy professionals seeking travel positions as well as hospitals facing staff shortages. During their work providing nursing staff for schools, the team recognized an absence of specialized knowledge and resources for addressing behavioral health issues within schools, which was negatively affecting students, teachers and the broader community. To bridge this gap, Martinez and the iDeal team in 2022 developed a schools division, enabling administrators to access the expert support their schools need.

Martinez and her team have also implemented innovative software within the organization, most recently Jobifi, a recruiter-facing tool enabling them to search, save and create alerts for traveling staff looking for positions in their preferred locations. The program matches various factors, such as pay requirements, shift preferences and certifications, with candidate profiles. It streamlines the process for recruiters to monitor and communicate with candidates when suitable positions become available.

Martinez’s dedication to partnership and industry leadership further contributes to her professional achievements, and she humbly credits her success to the team around her. “I’ve been so lucky to have hired the right leaders for iDeal,” she explains. “I’m constantly learning from them.
