In the world of staffing, where change is the only constant, Kristian Rayner, director of enterprise sales for MBO Partners, remains captivated by the fluidity and pace of change in this industry.

“The way work gets done is constantly evolving, and the shift to leveraging an extended workforce is the way of the future,” he says.

Starting as an account executive in 2018, Rayner was promoted to lead the MBO enterprise sales team two years later. Since then, he has helped MBO Partners become one of the leading global talent platforms managing over $1 billion in spend. He has spearheaded the acquisition of new name-brand clients, including GE, AARP, Edwards Lifesciences, Unilever and Guidehouse.

Rayner has been instrumental in helping clients across several industries establish ground-breaking programs in healthcare, professional services and technology, unlocking increased access to talent and enabling them to manage an extended workforce.

“While direct sourcing and its conceptualization remains a popular topic, rarity lies in getting your hands dirty and turning concepts into reality, and I take great pride in accomplishing just that,” he says, leveraging a consultative approach with his clients looking to modernize their talent strategy.

A forward-thinking leader driven by an unwavering commitment to learning and personal growth, Rayner firmly believes that success arises from understanding the value of losing.

“Setbacks hold invaluable lessons. Winning is great, for sure, but losing provides a greater appreciation for what it takes to win and makes you value every victory that you earn,” he says.
