Brittany Lidgett

Having worked from all angles within the medical staffing industry, Brittany Lidgett, VP of compliance and quality assurance at Fusion Medical Staffing, uses her unique perspective of the traveler experience to lead one of Fusion’s biggest divisions with compassion and understanding. “We are the last stepping stone in the process to get compliant healthcare professionals in the door to provide patient care,” she shares.

Since joining Fusion in 2019, Lidgett has implemented several programs that allow compliant travelers to be placed quickly and efficiently. Some of these processes include a rollout plan for the organization regarding facility Covid-19 vaccine requirements and improvements in the program that houses travelers’ documentation as well as an incentive program for compliance specialists, encouraging the department to consistently perform at a high caliber. She is passionate about working cross-functionally and with a traveler-first mentality throughout the organization to ensure the best clinician experience possible — and she shows that same dedication to Fusion’s internal workers as well, prioritizing collaboration and innovation to nurture team members and develop them as leaders. “I’m really proud of my team and how they show up to deliver great service every day,” she explains.

Looking ahead, Lidgett sees the future of medical staffing evolving through innovative technology and through programs that will continue to engage future generations. She prepares her teams to be adaptable and open to adjustments based on changes in the ever-evolving marketplace, adding new efficiencies along the way to improve the clinician experience. She’s dedicated to continuing providing support so all travelers can focus on providing the best possible patient care.
