Adam Shad

Over the past three years, Adam Shad has been leading a major digital transformation around talent acquisition. In his current role as senior VP of delivery transformation, he has ensured that the entire Kforce recruiting team is primed for success by revolutionizing the way the $1.4 billion company attracts, qualities and manages talent.

Shad’s efforts have led to the development of innovative new tools including an app-based referral program called KFORCEconnect, which has generated over 1,200 referrals and multiple hires since its launch in March.

As any project leader knows, balancing the competing needs and wants of stakeholders isn’t easy. Shad believes that listening calmly with an open mind usually results in the best solutions. “I find that taking the time to listen and digest before responding is my best approach,” Shad says. “So, when countless ideas are being thrown my way, I thoroughly analyze the situation before proceeding.”

Shad has seen the benefits of employee referrals first hand. He was referred to Kforce by a friend and joined the company right after college. The quick study has held a variety of roles and assignments across a variety of disciplines during his 13-year tenure. While he admits that he has acquired a wealth of knowledge and experience during that time, he also says that his focus for the foreseeable future is to continue to innovate and evolve the way that Kforce delivers talent.
