Bradley Block

Bradley Block has worked full-time in the staffing industry for more than a dozen years since graduating from the University of Maryland Smith Business School. He recently earned his MBA from NYU Stern School of Business.

As a third-generation industry player who had the privilege to work with his grandfather and father, Block says, “I’ve been sourcing, recruiting, doing sales, and working in the office for as long as I can remember.”

He currently serves as VP and principal of the family firm Industrial Staffing Services Inc., part of the Staffing-The-Universe Family of Companies. In his tenure, East Brunswick, NJ-based ISSI’s revenue has increased from $15 million to more than $150 million.

However, it is Block’s advocacy for the industry itself that sets him apart. He is a past president of the New York Staffing Association and currently sits on its board as ethics chair. He also serves on multiple councils within the American Staffing Association; his newest appointment is with the ‘Staffing as a Career’ taskforce. Block is speaking at ASA’s upcoming Staffing World conference but also presents at local conferences and conventions as well as in front of colleges, veterans groups and more. “I’m working to add value to people’s lives every day, and working to make them more aware of this great industry and all of the amazingly positive things that we have to offer,” he explains.
