As executive VP, Cody Burch provides both strategic and operational oversight of B. E. Smith’s core business, including the senior executive search, talent strategies, human resources, accounting and IT departments. He joined B. E. Smith in 2005, holding expanding leadership roles across the organization in recruiting, service operations, sales operations and finance. His extensive knowledge and diverse background in healthcare recruitment, business operations and financial management have been instrumental to the company’s growth.
Some of the major initiatives under Burch’s direction include the development of a centralized shared service operations model driving improved efficiency; a process to evolve interim leadership; a restructuring and redesign of recruitment processes; the implementation of a combined applicant tracking system and customer relationship management system built on Salesforce; and finally, a rebranding of B. E. Smith.
He was also instrumental in the creation of the talent strategies division, a candidate placement engine that enables B. E. Smith to match client organizations with high-performing leaders quickly and efficiently. Burch is particularly proud of the teams he’s had the privilege to lead with B. E. Smith.
