Jeff Widmyer founded Ro Health, a $16 million medical staffing and home health agency, in 2013 while in graduate school at Seattle University. He was inspired to embark on an entrepreneurial journey during an entrepreneurship class taught by Kent Johnson. Johnson, a former venture capitalist and CEO, started each class with a CEO guest lecturer sharing his journey. The trials, tribulations, and allure of the business startup adventure hooked Widmyer in.

Five years later, he attributes all of Ro Health’s growth and success — the company has doubled in size every year — to the many great people he gets to work with each day. Ro Health supplies its clients with the providers they need to care for their patients. The firm is based on his philosophy that the best way to do that work is to maintain a culture committed to taking great care of its providers: If Ro Health takes great care of its people, everything else will fall in line.

Widmyer is an early riser, lifelong learner, family man, world traveler, and entrepreneur. When he’s not spending time with family, he’s having fun leading Ro Health. Widmyer is proud of Ro Health’s recognition as a Best Staffing Firm to Work For by SIA. He is motivated by building a company where people can do well by doing good, and he enjoys working with leaders and watching them grow.
