The staffing industry didn’t feature in Jessica Zucker’s plans. However, while interviewing as a candidate with a recruiter from Robert Half, Zucker became interested in what went on behind the curtain, and she was soon hired into its light industrial division. A year later, she moved to Randstad as an associate agent. “When I started, I was not focused on my career growth,” she says, “but I loved the sales aspect, getting to know customers and growing my business.” Her strong performance led to promotional opportunities, and 12 years later, Zucker is now a senior VP with the company, overseeing the California region.
“I love helping our clients come up with action plans,” she continues. “There are times where I wake up in the middle of the night thinking of ways to help them reach their goals!” Zucker is also passionate about developing her team members, noting that helping someone get promoted makes all the hard work worth it. When asked how she got where she is today, she responds that it’s consistent performance in every capacity, noting she’s achieved an average of 18% year-over-year growth in financial targets during her tenure. “My company can rely on me, my leadership, and my production.” She aims to continue growing market share and being a market leader. “I want everyone to talk about Randstad!”
