As chief information officer at EmployBridge, John Rosenbaum leads the company’s technology team with a simple philosophy: always look ahead. He has his finger on the pulse of technology and recognizes how it affects the industry in both obvious and subtle ways. He has spent more than a decade helping firms, steering their technology investments and prioritizing new and innovative technologies.
Prior to joining EmployBridge, Rosenbaum was a management consultant helping companies across a variety of industries. He also worked at Technisource (now Randstad Technologies), where he led information and technology due diligence and assessments for private equity investors.
He graduated from Southern Methodist University with a double major in economics and engineering management, information and systems. With all his experience in tech, it was a natural fit for Rosenbaum to take the role of CIO for EmployBridge in 2012. Since taking on the role, EmployBridge has grown revenue to more than $3 billion from $600 million.
“Being able to assimilate a wide range of business priorities and challenges and then distill them down to a single technology strategy that meets those needs in the most efficient and pragmatic way allows our firm to grow while staying ahead of the technology curve,” Rosenbaum says.
