Jonathan “Jonny” Stokoe is no newcomer to the staffing industry, having spent most of his career with the world’s largest HR solutions business, The Adecco Group. However, his move into the world of recruitment outsourcing is where he has seen the most growth following a transatlantic relocation to the US from the UK in 2014, joining Pontoon where he was recently promoted to his latest role as global head of marketing operations and analytics.
Underpinning Stokoe’s drive and success is a passion to deliver the best experience to all customers. One way he seeks to achieve this is through “the use of real-time research, data and analytics to produce one truth in what can sometimes be a ‘gut-feel-based’ process,” he explains. He also looks to innovative technology to personalize communication at a global level, ensuring consistency.
His philosophy is to approach all interactions with a focus on mindfulness and secure-base leadership principals. This is imperative because, as he sees it, “in an environment where technology is disrupting the industry to its core, retaining the value of personal touch and quality of experience for all parties is paramount.”
His most recent success includes the launch of Pontoon’s new global product offering, RXO, which focuses on experiential hiring. His future plans involve working with both Pontoon and the wider group’s data to drive change across their global business lines, all to the benefit of Pontoon’s customers.
