It took just nine years for Noelle Paras to rise from an entry-level recruiter to VP of client services at Sevenstep, a provider of enterprise RPO solutions. Her secret, she says, is focusing on the job at hand rather than where success might lead. “My approach is to do the absolute best job I can for my clients, my peers and my employees. There are times I’ve set career goals, but I have found that success and opportunities come when I focus on helping and elevating those around me,” Paras says.
Her hard work has paid off in career growth for herself and her teammates. As the head of Sevenstep’s healthcare department, Paras has helped multiple Fortune 100 healthcare organizations meet difficult hiring demands in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. While serving clients, she also supported the well-being of her internal team as they worked long hours to fill critical positions. She helped develop and deliver professional development sessions for employees at all levels of the company.
“I oversee all of our healthcare hiring. It’s an amazing feeling to help people find jobs where they can serve others,” she says.
Paras is also working to push the industry forward through the use of analytics. She helped develop and launch Sevayo Insights, Sevenstep’s proprietary analytics platform. “Part of remaining stable in a volatile marketplace is knowing what’s coming,” she says. “We can predict what’s going to happen and prepare for future trends.”
