Rodrigo J. Alcaine

Creating opportunities for the teams he leads is a strong motivator for Rodrigo J. Alcaine. As vertical head of technology and sciences at Adecco US, he is committed to upskilling and mentorship while leading by example. “I feel a deep sense of responsibility and pride in developing and elevating teams. It’s something I look forward to building on every single day,”
he says.

Alcaine joined Adecco US in 2018 as an area vice president, managing branches in North Carolina and Virginia. His career has grown within the organization with a promotion to regional vice president, leading 26 offices across multiple states, before joining the Adecco US executive leadership team.

What speaks to him most about the staffing industry is the holistic impact of solving customers’ complex challenges and employing people in the communities Adecco serves. “What we get to do is incredible — the more we strive to make the future work for everyone, the more opportunities we create for the people around us — internally and externally.”

Alcaine was recently appointed to serve on the Adecco Group North American Diversity & Inclusion Council. “Earlier, in times of economic crises, these initiatives used to take a back seat. Now, these conversations are not just initiatives anymore but have become business imperatives. It’s extremely rewarding to represent these efforts,” he says.
